Boulder, Colo., September 2023 — The leading global trade organization for the futures, options and centrally cleared derivatives markets has named Entelligent one of ten companies to showcase their products and services in the Innovators Pavilion at its annual conference in October.
Entelligent will demonstrate its Smart Climate® data and analytic suite at the FIA’s Futures and Options Expo on October 2-3, 2023 at the Sheraton Grand Chicago Riverwalk. Nominated companies will exhibit at the FIA show’s Innovators Pavilion, which showcases startup companies providing forward-thinking solutions for the global futures, options and swaps markets.
According to FIA, Entelligent was chosen from a competitive pool of applicants to showcase its Smart Climate product suite to attendees that include senior executives from brokerage firms, exchanges, trading firms and service providers.
The Pavilion consists of start-ups chosen by FIA’s selection committee, based on their relevance to the industry and their innovative approach to solving business problems. Entelligent will have a booth to introduce its products and services to the FIA community and each start-up will have an opportunity to give a short pitch directly to Expo attendees. At the conclusion of the conference, FIA will announce the winner of the pitch competition based on feedback from our expert judges as well as the winner of the “people’s choice” award based on the number of votes received from Expo attendees.
Entelligent’s Smart Climate supports climate risk management, opportunity discovery and compliance applications for a broad range of financial service providers. Its E-Score® and T-Risk scores form a comprehensive toolkit that includes Transition and Physical Risk (carbon-adjusted and unadjusted), Climate Value-at-Risk, and Carbon Intensity. The Smart Climate model draws on top-down climate and energy data for its primary inputs, while employing bottom-up entity-reported data only in controlled and visible ways that maximize their usefulness. This disciplined hybrid approach enables strong forward-looking predictive power as well as backward and forward time-series comparability — while maintaining financial materiality and supporting carbon accounting.

Entelligent is a pure play climate data and analytics company with a patented technology that analyzes forward-looking climate scenario models to improve risk-adjusted returns for investors. Entelligent was the first company to be granted a patent over the use of climate scenario analysis in climate-risk assessment for security selection and other financial products. Its analytics address the lack of clear, standard metrics that provide a roadmap for effective climate risk investing, while allowing the capital markets to make a positive impact on climate change. Entelligent’s Smart Climate® suite — including the T-Risk® transition and physical risk score, the E-Score and Smart Climate Carbon Accounting — offers asset managers and other financial institutions a comprehensive toolset for climate risk management, regulatory compliance and alpha discovery.
